I Thought A Farmers Market Is About Food
A Farmers Market is about getting your food local and direct from the source. At the market, you get to know your farmer personally and there’s something intangibly wonderful about knowing you are participating in a community. And a farmers market might be at 9th and U Street NW one week and move to Dupont three months later.
We are comics, story tellers, poets, musicians, and more. We live and work primarily in Washington, DC and the DC-Maryland-Virginia region. We seek to entertain you here. And our home is wherever you frequent and we can put a mic in our hand–from 9th and U to Dupont and beyond, just like those farmers markets.
That said, I can go about six months without having a carrot. But we never like a day without a laugh, a song, a thought, a tear, or an idea. So maybe we’re more important than food. Yeup. It’s decided. We’re more important than food.
What is Happyness Hours? (the non-food version)
Happyness Hours primary focus is providing one-of-a-kind, 60-90 minute live events for the fine folks of Washington, DC. Our shows will put a smile on your face and a drink in your hand. The boozy beverage specials are thanks to sponsorships, which are thanks to you. Thanks for getting down with us. We look forward to bringing you more great shows in the DMV.
The Happyness Hours network includes live shows, events, podcasts, videoss, and other stuff that is owned and operated by DC comics, poets, story tellers, and other artists. We take pride in being DIY artists and appreciate your support as we cut out the business-y middle man and create and distribute entertainment directly to your face, phone, computer, and ears.
